Speaker : Carl-Henrik ("Calle") Pettersson, PhD

Calle has a PhD in mineralogy, petrology and geochemistry at Stockholm University.  Before entering the world of nuclear waste management, he worked as a marine geologist and as an exploration geologist. Since 2013 he has been working at the section of plant safety assessment at the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM). There he is part of the  reviewing team that examines the industry’s licence applications for geological repositories for radioactive waste. Calles focus is on site understanding.
